what have you decided to do with your dress? i am considering selling it. i was wondering what you have done with yours. I know some people save them for their children or make something out of it like a christening dress or bassinet decoration, but i don't think i will do that.

Right now I'm just keeping mine in my old bedroom so whenever I go visit my parents I can look at it hanging and get all sad that the wedding is over and I won't be able to wear that fabulous gown again! (thinking I may be a bride for halloween )

I was thinking that exact same thing! I'm going to a black tie wedding this weekend, I was joking 'Maybe I should wear my dress!' Totally kidding, but how funny would that be?

I had mine preserved along with my shoes, veil and garter. Who knows if it will ever be worn again, but at least its in a box with a window so i can look at it whenever i want!

I'm torn on it as well. Part of me wants to save it for my daughters to give them the opinion of wearing it but the other part of me wants to make it into a christening gown b/c that's that is something that can be pasted down from generation to generation.

I preserved it and waiting for when we have a kid to make a outfit out of it and any extra material I will make a blanket or pillow. I am taking my jacket and trying to find a place to dye it so i can wear it again.
