Future hubby and I are planning on starting the registry process at Bed Bath and Beyond. Can anyone tell me what to expect when I get there? Best days/times to do so?
if possible go on a weekday in the morning when the store is not crowded! Leave yourself plenty of time because you will be there for hours! :)
I went on a Thursday night around 8-8:30 with my BM's. There was barely any people in there and the employees there that help with registries gave us their full attention. I would suggest a week night
I went to BBB on a Sunday and it was kinda crowded but they saw us right away even without an appointment. The woman was SO nice and so helpful. She took down a bunch of our info and then had us look through the books at fine china and the more expensive crystal gifts. Then she took us out into the store and started walking with us. She told us just point to whatever you want and I'll scan it- that we shouldn't have to climb on top of under things to scan for ourselves, unless we wanted to. She led us around department by department and she was SO helpful. She had a lot of insight on the products and helped us remember to register for things we would've completely forgotten about. She did say if at any time you want to go off on your own, please feel free. So after hitting up the major depts. we asked to browse alone for awhile. DH went crazy with the scanner, naturally, but it went realy well and really smooth! I liked it so much better than Macy's! It was like pulling teeth trying to get someone to help you!
I started mine online .. then went to the store and added items that I wanted to actually see. That def saved time.
I actually started mine in the city. It was not crazy at all. We went on a weekday during the day.
thanks girls! we were thinking of going on sunday morning. we want to start that on sunday and also start pricing out wedding rings!
