What to expect/ask at a DJ appointment?

Hi all,

I have a DJ appointment with MRG Productions on Monday, I was wondering what to expect and what questions I should be asking. This is my first official meeting with a DJ, not at a showcase, so not sure what I am going to be walking into.

Any advice would be appreciated

- What's included and what's not in his price package
- How much to extras cost (bubble machine, bogo lights)
- Ask for references

I would also ask:
What time will they get there
How many events have they done in your RH
Will they be playing during your CH
If you need them for your ceremony music will they do it (is it extra)
Are party favors included? How many?

what are there backup planns if something happened to the equipment or what will happen if the dj bcomes ill

This is important... my DJ brings two (2) laptops, in addition all of my songs will be burned onto CDs and there will be backup equipment in my hall (not in a van... down by the river) if something happens.

The above sold my FH on our DJ we booked on the spot.

In addition, ask to see pics of the set up in your room.

I also asked about what happens if someone becomes ill, and I was given the names of backups which are in my contract.

I asked about the refund policy... adding extras / removing extras, etc.
