I know people have different opinions on this, but our puppy is coming in a few weeks and I'm trying to get ready for him. What puppy food do you use? Why? and where do you get it? Thanks.
we used Iams Puppy Food for large breeds since we had a Rottweiler
we're also feeding our Rottie pup Iams Large Breed Puppy food - kibble. Theres such a huge controversy about the ingredients in dog foods and you'll probably hear different things from a lot of different people about what is good and what is not. Personally, I'm going to take the advice of my vet and my breeder, as they both highly recommended Iams. All pups are different though, and what works great for one might be a mess for another. I would ask your vet. Good luck!
What kind of dog are you getting? See if you can find message boards online for that breed. That's where I got a TON of info about food for Boxers.
I fed Eukanba puppy small bites to my Jack Russell, it was what the breeder recommended to me.
Our puppy is an English Pointer. It doesn't seem to be a really popular breed, but I will see there probably are some good chat boards for this breed.
Take your vet's recommendation.
