what to get for the holidays/bday?

hi gals-
Robs two sisters are asking me what does Julianne want for the holidays...what does she want for her bday - (JAN 5th!).

maybe Im a scrooge but I dont believe in tons of toys. we already bought a stuffed Dora doll, little people Noah's ark, and that Fischer Price toy with the balls that pop up and out.
Also have a leap frog activity center we haven't opened yet.

I told one sil that I want her ears pierced..so we are going together once we get to FLA to get Js ears done.

Any suggestions?
She already watches baby einstein dvds that she loves, and one dora one and one sponge bob one.
(maybe we already have too much?)

I feel the same way. I keep telling them not to many toys. I got so many baby clothes for 0-3 and 3-6 months that I tell people to get him 6-9 month clothing

I already warned my MIL not to go overboard, but I probably wasted my breath!!! She was talking about buying her, are you sitting down? AN EASY BAKE OVEN!!! Because she thinks it won't be around when she's old enough for it!!!! I said to her 'HELLO, that's been around since I was little so it's not going anywhere!!!' She's out of control.

Why go crazy now? The Bear Cub has no clue if she gets anything or not and most important of all I HAVE NO ROOM FOR ALL THIS STUFF!!!!! As it is I have no room for the 50,000 outfits she got (and you have no clue how much I returned -- I have credit slips for every store known to man)!!!!

I need a house just for her stuff alone!

And I love when people ask me what does she want for Christmas! I think the only thing Gianna wants is her bottle and her mommy & daddy!!!

I guess in your case- you could say she wants her parents to have a dinner night out! ( hmm maybe that would work for me? NAH!...)
the inlaws want to see something they bought ON HER or her PLAYING with it
darn! there goes my ploy to get a spa day!

My grandmother gave me one every christmas and bday...we died when I was in HS...but my mom and I decided to cash them in to spend on the wedding...just the way my grandmother would have wanted!!! (she loved weddings)


ETS: it was nice to see who gave my bonds as a child...I kept going through them saving...'how nice of them'
