We're about ready to order our STD's. Do we send the hotel block info along with the STD's or do we just wait to send that with the invitations? Also, should I include our wedding website on the STD itself or on the supplemental card I print out with the hotel block info? TIA!

I didn't send the actual hotel info...just stated there will be an after party immediately following reception and rooms will be blocked for your convenience.

i sent mine out 10 months in advance. if you have a lot of OOT guests def include the hotel info with the STD, & include it on your wedding website. you can see mine in my album.

I'm putting the wedding website on the actual std magnet because i figure it wont get lost as easily as a piece of paper. Included with the magnet, i plan to do a poem. I don't have a lot of OOT guest but if you do, then i would suggest sending hotel info so that they can plan for that as well. or if your guest are all computer savvy and use that more often, u can just put your hotel info on your wedding website and they can view it from there. the options are endless!

I have A LOT of OOT guests (more than half of my guests) so I got business cards printed with the wedding ceremony/reception info on left side and accomodation info on the right side and then put the wedding website on the bottom. I gave magnets with it that just had - save the date, the date, our names and our picture. So they can use the magnet to put the business card up on the fridge. I used Vistaprint and got these all on sale.

I think you're getting married at Vineyard Caterers. If so, send out your STD with the hotel information. The hotels are totally sold out and my wedding is in September. Luckily, most of my guests reserved their rooms when I sent out the STD....
