What to throw after church? Rice or rose petals?
My church allows both rose petals and environmentally safe rice to be thrown after the ceremony. Which do you prefer? Please vote, thanks!

Although it's more expensive, I would have them throw rose petals. I think that rice really hurts and gets EVERYWHERE!

I voted rose petals...they look fantastic in the pictures leaving the ceremony.

Ditto - I agree 100%. Plus the rose petals in the air add a bit of color to photos - which can look really nice

Rose petals...They don't get stuck anywhere (ie. your hair, etc) and it looks so nice in pictures!

we are doing red rose petals...Actually, my church would not allow bubbles or rice (even environmentaly safe)...

We are doing bubbles......i think they would look great in pics...and im not a fan of roses...so i dont want the petals.....
I think rice would look nice....

I love the way the rose petals look in the pics!! Plus they don't hurt like rice does!!

We used freeze dried rose petals and they were beautiful. Because they were dried, they really floated well. The pictures were awesome.

Just remember, if it's damp/rain out and you are using colored rose petals the color can get on your dress.

i like rose petals.
or they make these edible hearts that you can throw also- they have them in michaels, this way they dont hurt the birds!

I like rose petals....Rice will be stuck in your hair for weeks!!!!!
