What to wear???
I need help. Our e-pics are going to be taken next tuesday at the studio. I haven't even thought about what to wear. They said to coordinate... same colors... I don't want to wear the same colors.. complimenting yes.. but the same?.. we are getting married.. we aren't twins.I don't want to wear jean becuase they make my thighs look big. They said to look casual but I want to wear a skirt. As you can see I am lost.. What did you guys wear?? And FH too.
Also... Due to the fact that we are buying a house I have effectively chewed my nails down to stubs.. really gross. I have been avoiding tips because I want my nails to be natural and healthy. Do I need tips or shoud a light french on really short nails be okay. My nails are NEVER much longer then my fingertips because they break and a french usually makes them look longer and neater....but they are pretty bad right now... really really short. What should I do..
I swear I look for things to stress over!!!

-->A thinly cut sweater is universally flattering, make it not too busy. Dark skirt or trousers works well. You do not want to be twins, just to coordinate. We are going to do black sweaters, me in a black mini and FI in a pair of nice slacks -- it is what we wear in life and really represents us.

-->I hate tips but I think I would treat myself because your hands are featured so prominently in e-pics. They don;t usually do tips that are shoirt but the couple of times I have had them done I have just firmly said, CUT THEM SHORT --sporty length and they complied.

Re: What to wear???
Oh my goodness honey ... breathe!!!!OK, now ... go get yourself a nice manicure and do a light color like Madamiselle (ESSI), Sweetheart (OPI), Angel Food (I think Essie), or Facinating Hope (Dante) - no tips, just nice clean nails
Clean your ring really good - scrub the diamond up and use HOT HOT WATER / steam if possible.
Next - you should wear WHATEVER you feel best in! If you want to wear a skirt then wear one! I wouldn't wear a ballgown if it's casual, but a pretty skirt and blouse would be a great idea.
As for matching - FH & I coordinated. He wore a white sweater with a blue stripe and I wore a blue button down top. We both wore jeans. I had black boots on, he had brown shoe/boots on.
Have fun with this!

You can do a simple color on tips -- I agree with Jan 05 but I like Samoan Sand by OPI -- really flattering.

LOVEE Somoan Sand! It's a bee-ooti-ful color! I was just trying to save her from having to get tips. I hate tips and think short nails when neat are much prettier.

Totally agree about tips but if they are down to stubs and pics next week -- maybe not time to grow enough, that is why!

Re: What to wear???
Maybe I will put tons of grow fast stuff on them and wait until monday night to make the decision.Cleaning the ring is no problem. I just got a vat of cleaning stuff from the fortunoff's event . plus my ring is from fortuoff's so they clean it for me whenever I want ...free.
Thanks for the advice girls.
