Hey everyone, I'm going to a wedding on a Friday night in August, and I'm wondering what I should wear. A long formal gown, short black dress, or a pretty floral print dress? I don't want to look too formal and outshine the MOB and MOG, but then again, I don't want to look too informal. I don't know why I'm having such a hard time, I've never been to a Friday night wedding, and I'm wondering if they're as formal as most of the Saturday night weddings I've been to, or if they're a little more casual. I'd love to hear everyone's opinions.

I'd wear a nice formal dress, the shorter black one you have sounds nice.

I'm getting married on a Friday & I think it's just as formal as any night. Women can't go wrong w/ a little black dress.

My wedding was on a Friday night in Sept. almost all the ladies wore long formals.
