I know this sounds like a strange question, but I NEVER EVER try stuff on in the fitting room... so when I'm going dress shopping what should I wear? I don't want to look like slob, but I don't want the dress shopping experience to be a pain in my a$$ either...

I wore a strapless bra and covering underwear and spanx. I wore clothes that were easy on/off. HTH

I wore a sweat outfi - just easy to take off
wear a strapless bra but they can always give you one
and wear regular undies - you don't dress alone

yaa thank god for LIW! i had to go buy reg underwear just to try on dresses. i had no idea they come with u in the rooms!.. but at macys they didnt.
the next day i went to get fitted for a BM dress and i wore a thong.. i dont care.. if u wanna see my azzz... no problemoooo chances are its nicer than the sales ladies so i aint scuuurrrreddd

wear full coverage undies or even bootie shorts... wear a convertible bra... you know the ones where you can change the strap... I found it to be useful when trying on halters... bring shoes with you. They don't need to be the shoes you plan on wearing for your wedding day, but it helps to give you an idea of what the dress looks like with heels. And above all, where what makes you comfy when you go. I wear heels EVERYDAY! So I went in jeans, a sweater and heels. :) Goodluck chica!

i went in sweats... easy to change in/out of. def a convertible bra and regular undies. all the places i went to had heels for me to try on with the gowns.
