What to wear (taking Engagement pictures)

We are taking our engagement pictures this year since we aren't having an enagagement party and we want to take them this summer season. We are going to the Arboretum in Oakdale. I want it to be cute and laid back and fun!

What should I wear?

Rule # 1: don't wear bright colors
My Advice: be yourselves...wear what you two feel gives off 'your' vibe...we wanted it to be casual and fun

we wore jeans and grey sweaters, I wore sneakers and DH wore Skechers. We also brought our dog.

Enjoy it! The Arboretum is a beautiful place!

We are going TODAY and still not sure what to wear. We are going to the beach for our pictures. My FH is wearing khaki pants with a light blue short sleeved button down shirt. I have no clue what to wear. I wanted to wear a black shirt but I will look so dark for the beach and compared to what my FH is wearing.

What about a nice sundress and FH in complimenting colors?

I think I've got it...
FH is going to wear Khaki's (as usual he's a guy!) with a blue button down shirt and it has some light orange and cream colors in it. It's a nice shirt and it looks nice on him.
Me, I think I am going to wear a white linen skirt with a baby blue boat neck top that I have and some sandals or flip-flops. We will compliment each other nicely.

I'll post the pictures one day.

I was thinking about the same thing. My FH wanted to weae a white linen shirt that he wore for our e-party last summer, but I really wanted to wear this really cute strapless black dress I just got on sale from the gap . . .

We'll see . . .

If not, I will wear one of the shirts I have that are in the neutral tones (white, cocoa, beige, soft pink, ivory) with a beige khaki skirt . . .
