FH and I are invited to a sweet 16 Nov 20 (same day 'new moon' comes out ) its for one of the students where I teach dance (not one of my students). its the first time I'm invited to a 'personal' party for anyone at the studio. I'm only there once a week, so I'm not that close to everyone.
So I figured I want to wear a little black dress, but the one I have I wore to the recital for bows and everyone saw it (and commented on it). So I need to find something... and it needs to be CHEAP! (like UNDER $50.00)
I've been browsing, but haven't found anything...
can't be too sexy or too 'young' (FH says I'm 25 and need to dress my age).

Wear whatever you want. It's not like your 50 wearing what a 16 yr old would wear. As i mentioned in yesterdays post apparently i wear what 13 yr olds wear lol.

check out forever 21 or macys. im sure you will find something. just dont wear anything too short or too poofy

I tried both and NOTHING! I found a few dresses I liked at macys that fh did NOT like... that's where the 'dress your age' comment came in.

Try Target. Seriously, they have a very cute line that Anna Sui helped to design.
oooo i like that and i have a $25 g/c from like 3 years ago... i wonder how it'd look on me though, i'm SHORT and curvy! do you think it'd look frumpy?

target has cute dresses, macy's, jcpenney.
i love forever 21 and mandee too but they have very 'young' dresses.
