Our friends are getting married next saturday. The ceremony is at 11am and the reception is immediately afterwards. I have no idea how formal it is and I've never even heard of the RH, so I dont know how to gauge. My question is....what is acceptable to wear? Can I wear a black cocktail dress, or is that too dressy? Can I wear a white and black cocktail dress (its mostly white) or is white not approapriate for a wedding?
Any suggestions?

Yeah I like the black dress idea, throw some pearls on and some pumps, you'll be fine
