Just wondering what travel agents you all used. I want to book for Hawaii but not sure where to go.

I used a specialist for that area.... Chloe Chipplione.. but it was for Bora Bora.
You can go to Tripology.com and type in your destination info and they send it to the travel agents who book vacas to that specific location. You will get emails from travel agents immediately. Then you can see who will give you the best quote!

really, really dumb question but what is the advantage of booking with a travel agent? I just go online and search for the best hotel/airfare. I haven't used a travel agent since 1994!

I want to compare with a travel agent also. Since they are experts they can tell me exactly where is fun, safe and clean to go. I've never been to Hawaii so wouldn't really know what to do there or where to stay with out some experts opinion. That is just my opinion.

Most travel agents have deals with hotels and they can get you better discounts on packages including airfare. If you research it both ways...sometimes doing it on your own is cheaper and other times a travel agent is cheaper. For our HM the travel agent was less expensive. I researched it both ways.
Oh also, they know the areas a little better than you do (if you've never been there) so they can offer tons of advice!
