What type of cake filling are you having??

I was wondering what kind of cake filling everyone was doing?? I think I'm going to do a chocolate cake but not sure on the filling!!

I'm a BIGGG canoli fan....so I think I'm going to go for canoli filling....but with those mini chocolate chips in it....yummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

I don't like things that are very sweet. Does a cake have to have filling, is it the norm? I don't want to have a weird wedding cake, but I am thinking about no filling at all

Chocolate Devils Food cake with 1/2 canoli and 1/2 chocolate mousse filling.

I have never had canoli but it sounds like it is good. I am gonna have to try it later today. Thanks ladies.

no stress bride, Im not sure if this will help but my mom just made this awesome chocolate cake and the filling was a dark chocolate so it wasnt sweet at all, yet sooooo chocolately (did I just make a word?). The filling tasted like the inside of a truffle. I can pass along the filling to you if you would like to give it to your baker for a reference.

I'd like to have devil's food cake & vanilla pudding or custard filling. FH loves vanilla pudding & I love devil's food cake.

I had cannoli filling with yellow cake. Delicious!!! Even if I only had one bite.

i think im doing canoli filling... although i like the idea of half of it being chocolate mouse..

Becasue I couldn't getthem to look right, I was so mad the directions seemed a bit confusing to me. Thank God for FMIL, she had the patience and she made one to show me, and they looked really nice. It is definitely more work than I thought. I just kept thinking to myself, 'that is alot to do with 40 bows'. I am contemplating not using ALL of them, just some. But they are made with good material though. FH said they are nicer than he thought, so I guess that makes them fabulous

we had chocolate with a very thin filling of raspberry filling, with Whipped cream
