Based on smell, appearance, etc. ?

For me, Indian food. The spices knock me over.

My cousin had her engagement party at a Russian place over by Coney Island and I wanted to puke all night. I know it was crazy expensive but I couldn't stand looking at the little squid things that looked like those plastic wall crawlers on the plate

I don't like the smell of curry either so I haven't tried Indian food for that reason although I do like trying different foods.

Somethings I will not go near are any organs (tongue, brains), any game animals like rabbit or vennisson (Ick - the SMELL of venisson alone!), and I don't think I could ever make myself try escargot.

But I LOVE calamari and sushi. Though anything that smells super fishy, I won't taste (like bluefish).

I love Indian food - but I'm not a huge fan of curry - I can understand how the smell of it can turn some people off - but honestly, the naan bread is the best bread in the world.

Can't say I'd like to try tripe. I used to work in a deli as a teenager so I'd have to say that head cheese is really high on my list. . . it's so gross.

I am such a picky eater!!
No seafood!! Nothing not even shrimp or tuna fish!!!!
Nothing exotic
No indian, no weird animal parts brains and tongues!! Uggh gag me
Heck I wont even eat greek food

Its good old American, Chinese ( hold the cat please) and Italian - less the seafood and some of the 'Real' italian stuff that makes my stomach turn.

Oh and any of my MILs cooking

My dad would occasionally eat head cheese. I think a large part of the reason for this is to gross ALL of us out (even my mom!)

I love 'different' foods- and am pretty adventurous- BUT- will NOT eat Tripe! yuck! just thinking of it, since FMIL made it last night UHHHHHHHHHHH i cant even fathom eating it

Me too! this may sound weird, but my brother and I won't eat string meat(brisket, etc). I guess it is a genetic thing
