What vendor was the most fun to book and what vendor was the most challenging?

I was just thinking back to when we started doing research, going through the planning process and finally booking all the vendors. It took a long time and I am happy and relieved all the vendors are booked.

I really enjoyed meeting with all of them.

Photography/video I felt was the most challenging, trying to find someone within my budget. I remember being so frustrated and we were getting so tired of meeting with photographers. But finally we found Duet, thanks to girls on liweddings.

Meeting with Jacqueline Nicole, Laura from LA Productions, Taralei and John from Flower Michele was the most fun and the easiest, because once I met them I had no doubts I was booking them.

How has everyone's else experiences been?

I stressed out over the choice of every vendor! lol! I went to 15 halls before choosing one, so that was probably the toughest. I guess the band was the most fun because we love them and can't wait to hear them again. The music is one of the things I'm most excited about. We booked a classical trio for the ceremony, calypso band for the CH and an 8 piece band for the reception. I can't wait!

Our most enjoyable was our florist. He is a really nice guy and knew exactly what we were looking for.

Our most challenging was our catering hall. For personal reasons - Westbury Manor, Watermill, Foax Hollow & Jericho Terrace wereout. At the time I didn't even know of any others...LOL We looked at lots of places booked one and even cancelled it before deciding on SMCC.

The HARDEST was the hair/makeup GOD what a complete pain in the arse. It was like slow torture.

I enjoyed the rest but mostly the DJ was the best.. Music by Michael.

I had fun booking all of my vendors. I fell in love w/ the Bourne immediately and didnt bother to look any where else. My first florist appointment was with flower michele and after I met John I cancelled all my others. Same with Wild Rose. Our photographer is a family friend that works at a well known studio and she is giving us a deal (so that was an easy decision). We saw 2 DJs and then we met Music by Michael - he knew exactly what I wanted and his online planner looked like so my fun so that was an easy decision. Tom from Audreys bakery was great when we met with him too.
The hardest choice was probably the officiant. We met with 2 before we met Rev Joe and we thought he was totally cool and very down to earth (he was a little more expensive then the others we looked at - but we really liked him).
