Re: what vendors...
at mine, it was the photographers and videographer and the DJ & MC plus their crew. They all ate in the CH room, and I have to say they all scarfed down their meals and were back at it 15 minutes later lol.

Re: what vendors...
Check with your RH - some halls have a policy in which you pay for each vendor, regardless of whether or not your vendors actually take the time to sit and eat a dinner or if they bring their own food.

We are feeding everyone of our vendors who will be at the reception. DJ/MC, photographer(s) plus any additional helpers, videographer plus helpers etc

Or check to see if they are house vendors and maybe there is no charge.....that's the case at our RH

Re: what vendors...
MOST OF YOUR VENDORS DON'T HAVE TIME TO EAT... THEY WILL SNEAK FOOD AT THE COCKTAIL HOUR, CAUSE THEY DONT WANT TO MISS ANYTHING. I KNOW FOR SURE IS NOT THE SAME FOOD THEY RECEPTION HALLS GIVE YOUR GUESTS...THEY GIVE THE VENUES DIFFERENT PLATES WITH SOME FOOD ON IT.
AS FAR AS GUEST. MY FH AND I BOTH COME FROM LARGE FAMILIES. HIS IS LARGER THAN MINE, BUT HIS WAY OF NARROWING DOWN HIS LIST WAS IF I HAVENT SPOKE TO YOU IN A YEAR THAN YOUR NOT COMING TO THE WEDDING. HE THOUGHT IT WAS SILLY TO INVITE THE PEOPLE YOU ONLY SEE AT WEDDINGS AND FUNNERALS, WHICH I AGREE. IF YOUR NOT WILLING TO SEE ME ANY OTHER TIME OR MAKE TIME FOR US THEN, WHY SHOULD WE MAKE TIME FOR YOU. BUT THATS OPTIONAL.
