What was everyones first date like with FH? (Spinoff to Amy's post)

For our first date FH came all the way to long island from the BX by train. When he first saw me he handed me a teddy bear and a corsage. A corsage??????? I was like what the hell, is this prom,lol!!!! Awww, it was sweet, I didn't wear it though. He then asked me where I wanted to go for dinner, I love indian food so I suggested my fav place, Fh's response 'is that gonna make me take a dump' He is one in a million. After dinner he goes to get up and ends up taking the table cloth with him. Then I get a call from my BFF saying she is drunk and if I could pick her up from the bar, I said fine. So we pick her up and she is sitting in the back seat and asks to go get a bagel, talk about throwing salt in my game!!!!! So she gets her bagel and then she is like these pants are so tight and proceeds to unbutton her pants. The whole time FH is in the front seat pretending he doesn't know what was going on. We dropped her off and I took him to the train station and that was our first date!!!!!!!

In order for me to explain the first date I have to go into the whole first meeting! So there I was a BK girl on the way to my friends house in Shirley. She was all like I got this dude I'm seeing over but come by anyway. So I go over and he tells me the two stupidest jokes but they were hysterical!!!! Anyway they break up and a few months later she's like honestly you two are perfect for each other, but I was still in my don't want to be tied down faze, that was in '01. Over the years me and him still kept touch and became good friends. He was dating someone and so was I. Ironically in '05 we both broke up with our ex's the same week but we both ended up getting back together with them lol. Then he broke up with his ex in '06 but I was still with mine. Towards the end of '06 (Dec.), I knew me and my ex were going to end it was just a matter of when. So in Mar of '07 The ex and I broke up me and the FH made plans to go to a hockey game 'just as friends.' I had just gotten off the overnights and was exhausted! He picked me up at Hicksville station, we got in the car to go to the game and before I knew it he kissed me!!! It was the best first kiss ever!!! We've been inseparable ever since.

Our first date wasn't until after we had been together for like two weeks.. We knew each other for a lil while and it finally worked out for us to get together.. Then I had lasik and we were just too busy with other things to go on an official date.. So it was just dinner, still nice cause the relationship was so new but there was no courting or flowers or anything lol.. .. He had already taken me to my eye doctor appointments so he was pretty much off the hook lol

Since I lived in the Bronx at the time, after work I went straight to my aunt's house in Queens where FH picked me up and we went to Sidetracks Lounge in Sunnyside. I just remember us ordering a lot of yummy food and talking the whole night. The afterward, since we didn't want to go straight home, I suggested we go do something fun like shoot pool or go bowling, so we went to this pool hall for a few hours and played a very competitive game of pool (FH discovered that night I am a bit of a hustler LOL).

Since he was from Jersey and I Brooklyn, we decided to meet up on common turf, NYC. We went to an Italian restaurant for lunch. We had such a great time, that we decided to catch a movie. But first, I had to buy a book for one of my teaching certification exams. Imade him walk all over the city with me until we found it. It was extremely hot, and the gay and pride parade was going on so the streets were packed. I knew I was not going to get asked on a second date because of how i took advantage of the date to do my errands, during the middle of a parade. By the time we got to the movies, he was exhausted. When we departed, he asked 'when can I see you again' and I was so happy.

FH took me to his favorite Sushi restaurant were he taught how to use chop sticks. I was so shy I didn't say much. Then after dinner he didn't want to end the date so I suggested Starbucks. We get to Starbucks and hands me a boquet of floweres that he forgot to give me in the beginning becasue he was soooo nervous. I got comfortable and started talking more. We ended up talking till starbucks closed. Our first five dates were over five hours each, it was GREAT.

We went into the city and just walked around for a while. He was living in NC at the time, so he drove 10 hrs all the way up to CT where I was staying with my sister. We went to Il Bastardo and had a delicious dinner then just walked around the city all day. He brought me flowers. The worst part was that (TMI warning here ) I had just had a procedure done the day before that required an enema and I was still feeling the effects so we had to stop every 3 blocks for me to use the bathroom. I was MORTIFIED and was sure he was like 'I drove up here for this???' and i would never see him again. Luckily I was wrong and he was so nice about it!

Our first date was very sweet and romantic... We went to Kotobuki for sushi (GREATEST sushi ever.) and then we went for a walk and watched the sunset. short, sweet and to the point cause oh baby... did i get kissessssss

FH's and I first date was dinner and a movie. We were coworkers at the time so it was a little weird. Anyways, we went to watch Saw that night and before the movie started, FH goes, now if you get scared, you can grab my hands, arms, cr0tch, whatever (i can't remember what else he mentioned) but I was thinkin in my head - eww perv. HHAHAHAH

FH and I met online so we talked for a few weeks and then decided to meet. I knew nothing of what he looked like and vice versa. So we met in the parking lot of my workplace and I got into his car and we went to Fridays for Brownie Obessions. He then took me to Long Beach and we walked on the boardwalk and talked.... and then we went back to his place and... yea we've been inseparable ever since.
