What was FH up to...

...before or when you first met him?

When I look back at FH's life 'before' me, I can't help but laugh at how much it's changed. Beyond school (we met in college) and working at Home Depot, he was always at a bar before we got serious - no matter what night of the week it was or what he had to do the next day, he was always at a local bar drinking, hanging out, playing pool until all hours. I could call him on any week night and sure enough, he'd be at the bar (in a social manner - he wasn't an alcoholic ). Ah, the life of a bachelor. Now, he's an accountant, we rarely get to the bar anymore (it's cheaper to have everyone over and drink at home ) and he gets in to bed by at least 11pm on week nights. What about your FH's? What were they up to?

hanging out with friends all the time on his motorcycles, they're sold now

He was always with his friends 24/7, riding his motorcycle, smoked 3 packs of cigs a day, was going to school and had a part time job.
But now with me things have changed!!!

He was a 17 year old little boy!! hah. Playing sports and hanging out with his friends.

Before me...he was emo -punk and in a heavy metal band playing drums, they were pretty big! ! Before me he liked brunettes....before me he had a social life!! hahahahaa

I always tell FH that if I had met him when he was younger I probably would have hated him!
He was the typical immature guy that hung out with his friends...thank god he has grown up since then!

So funny for me to read all these responses, we were the oppostie - FH hasn't changed one bit since I met him - I was one who needed taming, pre-FH I was drinking at the bar (socially!) all the time, and smoking cigs, and being quite the bachelorette - he def. made me a better person!

He was still just a little boy, when we first met we were both in HS..so the typical, hanging out and playing sports at his age. He was actually into a little bit of bad stuff but now all thats changed. He still loves his sports but he doesn't even get to go out and play much anymore because of his work schedule..I actually wish he did play more because he really loves it...

he was graduating college - just turned 21 - which is so weird (he is 26 now so 21 seems so young ) he was with his friends ALL the time b/c didnt have a full time job, he only DJ'd on the weekends - so he had lots of free time to do whatever he wanted....so he was very social - now he has NO TIME he is always working so that changed him....but that is what happens when you grow up....i would hope that he is a happier person now but i def think that he is

he was pretty much doing wut he does now...working, playing softball, seeing friends....im just included now

That is the life story that he has told me as well - wont expand beyond that

partying constantly and effin' around with friends who had no goals. ha has since learned how to keep balance in his life and drop some dead weight

Had no life, mama's boy combined with eagle scout - very boring.

Living at his grandmother's and being depressed, wondering 'what it all means' That all ended within a month of us getting together.

he lost his Mom the year before and was quite a wild boy - he was a pro downhill mountainbiker sponsored on the fox team.

now he's normal and not quite a daredevil!!

he was a 19 year old boy with no future ambitions.... i quickly changed that... !!! haha

Crappy job and spent all of his free time playing computer games. Now he's wayyyy more social and has a better job than I do (even though I'm the one who graduated college!) Oh and he dresses better and doesn't look as scrawny!
