Same here-

I also HATE Bridal party Intros- I think they are cheesy and corny and downright humiliating- BUT- FH and my parents are insisting on it

Oh well! It;s only 5 minutes out of the day

oh me too! but i also have been coerced...

i also didnt want all the dances like the macarena and NO congo line!!
also no cake smashing....still working that one out

Oh man, I have a list!

- No kids
- No receiving line
- No tiara
- No smashing the cake in the face

I ended up getting a tiara, but other than that we pretty much stuck with our 'no's'

Have kids at the wedding other than teenage cousins.

Have any 'Bridezilla' moments

Spend over 10,000 on everything...


All of which have been broekn the first not by choice.

no bok toss
& I did not want to have any purely wedding-related fights with FH.

no humerous exhibitions of passive aggressiveness (cake smashing, cake topper)

no bo-k / garter toss

very small wedding. If their # is not programmed into one of our cell phones, they're not invited!

no matching bridal party outfits

no smoke machines / light shows / loud MC's

no stretch limo

no sitdown meal... we want a buffet... We like to see food before selecting it!

no large rehearsal dinner.... only those rehearsing get a dinner, and it will be fun and informal!!

Oh, and no person can tell us we must change our plans becuase they want our wedding a different way!

Ditto here! Except for the sit down dinner part

And no receiving lines, huge tiara's, cheesey music or veils.

And all of our no's are just that, no's!

Oh I probably have a lot!

No:

1. Kids
2. Card Box
3. VIdeo
4. Garter removal / toss
5. VH
6. Mass (just the church ceremony - no mass)
7. Bachelor or bachelorette parties (if we needed 'one last night' we'd have had it before we made a commitment to each other - therefore, we're doing a big joint party instead!)
8. DRAMA!

Did not want a strapless dress.....I tried it on b/c my mom was nagging me and I ended up falling in love with that dress
NO KIDS AT THE WEDDING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We didnt want my DH sister in the bridal party......Guess we lost that battle
