i havent been to many weddings but im usually impressed with an extravagant cocktail hour

yeah i was at a wedding recently and the cocktail hour was INSANE....like it was way tooo much...no one could eat their dinners after that...but it was awesome!

I had the same experience. One of my friends had their reception at CLM and cocktail hour was decked out in all types of seafood. There was just tables and tables of food. And then to top it off, he had a surf and turf dinner. Talk about busting at the seams after that reception...

Jackie and I went to a wedding in October of 2007, and it was the most gorgous venue i have ever seen. the cocktail hour was in an atrium with an enormous pond in the middle with a beautiful bridge going over it. the coy fish in the pond were enormous. the reception room was beautiful as well. this place was breath-taking, and i had so much fun at this wedding. it was my favorite venue i had ever been to, and i have lots of family and lots of older friends so i have been to a ton of weddings.
that is why i NEEDED for us to get married at the same place, regardless of the cost. i would have done anything in my power to make that happen. i love Flowerfield.

oh yea! ive seen those! we are actually doing it for our wedding! i cant wait lol
other than that, the BEST was a rehearsal dinner i went to...my cousin 'roasted' his brother (the groom) it was the funniest thing ever. and then something nice was the band that played my brother's wedding. they were sooooo good but they play in vermont so that wasnt happening for me

I was impressed by my friends extravagant venetian hour
My cousin got married at Land's End several years ago, and this was the first wedding where I had seen the chocolate fountain. I know they're pretty commonplace now, but I love seeing the chocolate fountain...
