What was the best themed party you have ever attended?
I am trying to plan my mother's 65th birthday bash and I can't think of a theme to save my life. yikes! please share some ideas. (There will be alot of ppl who are young there) thanks.

1950's theme was my favorite. everyone can dance to the music which makes parties sooo good

I agree, especially with the large age range--this is always accessible....like a sock hop!

hmmm that is a tough one!
theme parties i have been to were:
- roaring 20s - middle school theme (haha that was funny) - my parents went to a 2000 new years party where they had to dress as a famous couple from an assigned decade, that was awesome - dress as your date - dress as a celebrity

I really like the Mardi Gras idea, that would be so cool. The 50's theme would be really nice too.

at college we did 80's, 70's, and redneck (which was prob the best)!
Just saw age group so I would agree with the 50's but a redneck party is so much fun!
