I had my 11th birthday at a roller disco called KISSES on Queens Blvd in Sunnyside!!!

The best part is the other night I realized, it totally was just a DISCO, no skating!!! So we had a disco to ourselves for my party but like at 11AM on a Tuesday or something!!

I know I was wearing a red & white satin jogging suit and I believe ORIGINAL Nike Cortez running shoes ... gonna have to find that picture!!

Yes, you have to find that picture!

Rollerskating parties were big with my friends when we were younger. I think we thought we were really cool and disco-y.

LaPlage in Hampton Bays (now the Beach Bar). That was when I was maybe 15, but there were many underage nights spent at Flying Point in SHampton and good ol' Jet East. (Though then it was JR's...oy vey, I'm getting OLD )

I used to bartend there, it was my first bartending gig, and then it closed down the next week

I loved that place too!! My friends and I would go there every weekend. The first club I ever went to was either in Nassau or Queens but I think it was Metro 700, the name sounds familiar but it was so long ago that I can't be sure.

Trixx (Metro 700 teen night), Industry in Island Park, Malibu. Saw TKA like a million times!!!

It was Paled's on Queens Blvd in Rego Park.
Paled's is now Goldfingers for all those playing at home.. (not that I have ever been there.. well.. it was just once.. Bachelor party in 92.)

But paled's .. yes... it wasn't a dance night though.. I went on heavy metal night.

My freakin' ears were ringing for a week.

hehehe i used to take the subway home from the city and get out of the exit by Goldfinger's as it was closing. oooo not a good thing.

my first club was in columbus, ohio called The Red Zone..or The Zone. Anyways, the MC was on the Wade Robson Project on MTV and we all know his as Bobby but now he has some punk street name, like Boogy. My MOH and I were laughing so hard when we heard him called Boogy..Oh, I am laughing now. I had a great fake ID that I bought for $50.

It was actually one in England...don't even remember the name. Drinking age was 18 though and they didn't bother IDing

Panama Jakes in Levittown. I was only 16. It was such a whole in the wall. I used my brothers i.d. to get in. At the time he was 26. We looked nothing alike.
