Re: What was the subject of your first post ever on LIW?

my first post was responding to someone else's question about engagment parties, but my first thread was:

New & Clueless:

Hi, I posted a few times tonight, but I wanted to offically introduce myself.

I am recently engaged & want to get married next October, but I am feeling way behind schedule. I have learned a lot in the last 2 weeks though.

We have an appointment with the Milleridge Carriage House Saturday. The date I listed is fake. I may try for that though.

I'm also looking for a church.
I just want to do everything all right away!

I am from LI, but I live in Westchester now, and all of a sudden LI is feeling foreign, and I feel like a tourist.

Anyone else only in the early stages?

edited for a bad typo.

-----------
it was so sweet reading that just now & seeingthe lovely messages fom people I know better now, like Julz33, Hearzbellz, Jimmysbride, June262004 & PrincessRose.

I did a search for you, I see that you became a member in Jan '04, so I entered your name and the whole month of Jan '04 and I came up with this being your first post.

Re: Is anyone else buying a house in a different state?

'We are going to be looking in the Pocono Mtn. area.... still have not decided to build or not.'

Your actual New Topic post was:

'I'm a legal secretary. My firm is closing its Long Island office come February 1st.

Words cannot express how mad I am.

This blows.

Anyone need a legal secretary or administrative assistant on the island...'

Thanks Jola!

I found it, BHB 2003! Ah, the memories! I remember all of this all over again as I'm reading it now! I was so ambitios before the wedding - we ended up not even doing this since only 5 people booked rooms!!! Here's the original post:

Good morning all! This is actually my first post on the newly revised website, so I hope this question makes sense! :) I'm basically looking for a list of things to do for first time visitors to Nassau County. We have a large majority of out of town guests attending our March 2004 wedding, and my fiance's family is coming all the way from Scotland! So I want to compile a 'List of Things to Do on Long Island' type of thing, just so our guests don't have to sit in a hotel room the whole time! Any suggestions for this would be really helpful - Our guests will be staying at the Woodbury Inn right down the street from Fox Hollow, so I'm trying to get an idea of things to do and see in this particular area. And Hooray!!! Our invitations shipped last week!! So we wanted to start putting them together preferably sooner than later since we'll be including these 'lists' with the invitations! :) Thanks so much for any helpful suggestions or ideas, it's greatly appreciated

Mine was about Bridal Reflections of Carle Place, and how unhappy I was with them (it was the one post that I could relate to) so everyone thought I was a .
