What was your 1st impression of FH?

Just curious what everyone thought of their FH when they first me them? Did you know he was the one?! I swore I would never go out with my FH when I first me him (found him very annoying ) but here we are 5 years later altar bound! Funny how things work out!

Ugh, I thought he was such a jerk! He liked someone else who was out with us, so he was rude to me cause he was focused on her! At the time I didn't care since I was seeing someone else. And now I just think it's funny.

LUST AT FIRST SIGHT
I was at a bar and turned around to see what i thought was my very own Petr Nedved (NY RANGER). I went right up to him and said
'HOW you doin?'

OMG, I LOVE NEDVED! FH met him...like 4 times...they have season tickets since like birth to the Rangers!

I AM SOOOOOO JEALOUS

Of course my FH doesn't really look like him to other people ...LOL just to me

ETA one of the first little gifts he gave me was Nedved's rooky card LOL

We've always been friends, and I always thought he was nuts. I never thought in a million years that I would be marrying him.

We worked together and he was cute but I was involved so there was no interest. Even when someone else told me he had a crush on me.

I knew I liked him instantly because he was funny and so cute but I think the thing that sticks out the most is aggressiveness and confidence - he didn't leave me alone the whole night (we met at a wedding) and made me dance every song, and then he wouldn't let me leave without my phone number, THEN he didn't follow the '3 day rule' and called me the next afternoon, and insisted we get together THAT night. I was hooked!

We worked together, and I thought he was too sarcastic....no sparks at all!!! He got on my nerves...but my friend had a crush on him and it became my personal mission to get them together...well, in the process I suddenly fell for him...and we became good friends for a while before we started dating (my friend got over him) and four years later we are getting married!!!!!

I liked him, but I also thought he was a complete clown and didn't believe anything he said! (of course we were at a bar and I was half in the bag!)

totally in love when i first saw him..him, not so much. he was sooo painfully shy ( he still is, but getting better) that i don't think he even spoke to me for a month. we met at work and i was always, always, always flirting with him. it got to the point where, if our manager was looking for me, they would first ask where he was, cause I was always with him. i guess i was kind of annoying, but it paid off. i had to ask him out for the first date, Almost Famous, then we talked more and started dating. we both knew we were going to get married almost right away.

I thought he was a TOTAL PLAYER!!!!! I was on my second date with his best friend and my date goes oh I want to stop by Joe's house .. you have to meet him! you guys would really get along! ( haahah)
Anyway we get there and hes in his driveway in kahakis and an armani sweater and his hair all gel'd and dress shoes on.... WASHING his bmw!!! what a dork
He comes over to say hello and his eyes were the most gorgeous green ( I have always LOVED greed eyes but never meet any guys with them!) then I notice his belt... He had 2 cell phones clipped to it!!! haahaha like one isnt enough?? So I figured he was a player and or a drug dealer.
How wrong I was!!! But his best friend was sooo right... we do get along great

I met my FH through a dating service on the phone. We spoke for about 2 months. Then one day I decided,' you know I should just meet him already.' So we went on a few dates after that night and the rest is history!!

But ya know what girls??
Our First Kiss I KNEW!! he was the 1!!!

Yeah. I don't know if you can say 'No Sparks' or what..because I remeber meeting him my sophomore year of HS. And he was sititng on the floor and someone introduced us (He was friends with a group of people I had just started hanging out with)..and I didn't think much of him at all, I was definitely not attracted to him, but out of all of the people I've met in my life, I remembered meeting him..it stuck in my head. Although, this may not be entirely true, because he swears we had been briefly intorduced earlier on passing elevators and he was attracted to me at first sight'. And we ran in the same circles for awhile. I had a pretty serious boyfriend, and FH was pretty jealous, but he would never have interfered b/c he thought me and ex were so perfect together.

We kind of chatted online over winter break (he was bored on vsitng family) and became friends, but I nevr saw him in a different light until we had to go to the guidance office with my friend who was ahving a problem. We'd all gone with her and I was SO struck by how compassionate and understnading he was. I think those were the first real sparks. And when I broke up with my boyfriend, more and more I found myself going to him with my latest triumph or problem, or anything. Increasingly, I just felt comfortable and happy in his arms (he gives great hugs). For valentne's day, he sent me a secret admirer flower, but I STILL didn't get that he liked me, and we'd been spending a lot of time together, but people told me he didn't want a serious relationship (he didn't wanna be the rebound guy). Well, there wa sa re-bound guy. And FH convinced me to break up with him. One day me and FH were at a party, we were danging around to Barry White of all people, and we collapsed on the couch. I tol him how much I'd wanted to kiss him ('Topanga him') But that I didn't want his first kiss to be against his will. He leaned over and kissed me. We kissed the whole night. The sparks REALLY flew, and the rest, as they say, is history.

When I saw her first, I thought she would never like a guy like me, I thought she was the cheerleader type. (not true at all, I found out a few minutes later) Anyway, we hit it off really well, I made her laugh her a$$ off, and I still do. She was really cute, and sweet, and I loved her company.

And here we are today.

When I first saw him, I thought he was so cute! He had a really great tan (had just come back from Cancun) and these beautiful green eyes that looked even more intense because of the tan.

I really liked him right away. He was very animated and I loved the way he could tell a story. On our first date---there were no awkward moments because he kept me laughing so much! I also made him drive practically all of Long Island to find this mini golf place----we never did find it---and he was not even the slightest bit mad!

I only had one concern......I thought he slapped my arse while I was bowling! I felt silly asking him, so I did so later that night on the phone. No, he had only kicked me in the butt. So he wasn't getting too fresh.

His best friend and my best friend were dating in high school. The four of us would always hang out, he was always interested and I was like ewww. He was the awkward coke bottle zitty guy who had all the girl friends because he was so nice. God the first time he kissed me I was like oh god please never do that again. 15 years later I'm happy he did!

When we were first introduced, there was this wierd tunnel vision thing, but i played it off to fatigue. i had just worked almost 11 hours, i was hot, pissed off, my hair was frizzy and i smelled like bleach b/c i was using it at work. annnndddd, where we met was sooo not where i had wanted to be. we met at his apartment which happened to be in a 'friends' house and i just didn't want to be there. but this 'friend's daughter told fh that i saw him and thought he was hot although i had never seen him. she was a little matchmaker. so he walks into the situation thinking 'oh, yeah' and i'm there like 'get me out of here!!'. so we get introduced and it was really like slow motion, but as the night went on, i was such a b!t(h that I thought this guy is so not my type (very cute and i never got the cute guy!) and he is trying wayyyy too hard. but then after meeting and talking by ourselves, i realized how serendipitous it all was. he shared a name with the street, my b-day is 1/8 and his is 8/1. our last names are like a letter off, my godmother has been his mailperson for like 15 years, and all this other stuff. so sorry for rambling. i guess my first impression was hindered by my grumpiness b/c he turned out to be better than i ever could have imagined!

OMG he was totally not my type.

I am so used to the preppie businessmen and military guys and here came this blue collared guy who tried to get a lollipop from me..I said no and then found out i knew his cousin. He gave me his number and I didnt call for like tow weeks and then only because I needed someone to go clubbing with lol.
But he took me home to mom and she told me I was the first girl he'd bought home and introduced as his GF (***?) should have been scared but I knew I wanted to be his GF at some point...and now I'm gonna be his Wife
