Just curious what everyone thought of their FH when they first me them? Did you know he was the one?! I swore I would never go out with my FH when I first me him (found him very annoying ) but here we are 5 years later altar bound! Funny how things work out!

Love a first sight. I saw him and said to a friend of mine (my MH) i am going to marry that man. She laughed and said 'Yeah ok'. Now she laughs everytime we are together. My mom said i kissed him when i was four years old and made him cry. His mom said to my mom wouldn't it be funny if they got married when they get older. Well now we are. My parents and his parents have been friends for a long time. My dad went to first grade with his dad. My FH and i had seen eachother as kids but had not seen eachother in 12 years. We met for the second time through a mutual friend and the rest is history.

Honestly, he was a friend of my first college boyfriend. I thought he was a great guy - very funny, and really nice. My bf at the time asked, 'would Brad be the kind of guy you would be interested in?' I replied that he wasn't my type!!!

I met him in a bar on New Years Eve. - (I know I know - THAT's a story for the grandkids huh ??) Even in my drunken state I knew that moment I was going to marry him - Strange .....b/c I am NOT at ALL the mushy romantic type !!

do you want the real honest opinion - when i first saw him i thought he was really ugly - like a backwoods hick ( no disrespect to any backwood hicks that may be online ) but seriously - i really didnt want to go out with him again - he was all scruffy looking cause he had just gotten off deck - but i was like - ewwwww shhh it is a secret dont tell -
i am glad i gave it another chance he really does clean up well

OMG! Funny as it sounds...I said to myself 'Steer clear of that man, he is bad news.' Just last night I admitted to FMIL that I thought her son was an alcoholic, sexaholic, fraternity boy.
She laughed and said....now you know he is not. I just wanted to be his friend because he was so cool but....look what wound up happening!!! And...thank goodness, he is totally nothing like what I imagined him to be!

Ooooh Baby! What a hottie!!
He was my manager at a new job. Two or three weeks later we were at a club together, and the next weekend I went to his place and crashed my car into a tree driving home and totaled it.
He loves to joke that I crashed b/c I was daydreaming about how wonderful he was.
Okay, so it might have been true!

I just need to add something to my earlier reply. We were on our fist date and I was trying so hard to make a good impression. I went to light a cigarette and I had tips because my senior prom had been a week before, so I light a match and proceed to set my thumb nail on fire! I was mortified at the time, but we laugh about it now.
