Absolute best for me was Pink Floyd - The Pulse Tour 94.
Close runners up are the Ramones, the Chemical Brothers, Eminem (he was awesome!) and Weezer....

Lollapalooza 1995 was pretty damn good too. Hole, Sonic Youth, Cypress Hill, Beck, Mighty Mighty Bosstones, others that I can’t remember. Plus I saw Moby on the 2nd stage for the first of 6 times!

That's the one I went to!
The Tibetan Freedom Concert was awesome, too... I think that was 1997?
I just saw Pearl Jam last summer and they were AWESOME... so that definitely ranks high on the list of my favorite concerts.

I used to go to lots of concerts-hard to single out the best!
U2 War at the Palladium or Unforgettable Fire at the Garden in the mid 80s
The 1st Lollapolooza in Saratoga (Jane's Addiction, NIN, )
The Neville Brothers on a small stage at NO Jazz Fest a few years ago. I remember holding back tears, I was so moved by their music.

The Scabs/Bob Schneider - a smallish Austin, TX band that is hands down the best live band I've ever seen. Small, sweaty club. Total debauchery. Ahhhh...good times!

Re: What was your BEST concert?
Duran Duran was awesome! May I say firstly. hehe
But all the two McCartney Concerts I've been too have been 'events'. Lights, actors in the stands, moving pianos.. big eye grabbers and no opening acts (obviously) instead he has little 'shows'. They have always stayed with me. Those don't even count as 'concerts' to me.
Still.. I have to go with Santana. Winter Garden, San Antonio. No pre seating.. it was a funky concert with booths in the back and grassy knolls to sit and hear 'Black Magic WOman' echo off limestone, water and garden walls. It was surreal.
Then Duran Duran
Then Depeche Mode 2001

Re: What was your BEST concert?
The BEST concert was Perfect Thyroid, New Cheers Pub in Binghamton, Feb. 25th, 2000 - my First Date with FH. But that's for sentimental reasons.
Musically - MAN that's a tough question because I go to SO many. I love seeing Ben Folds, Tori Amos, and Rockapella (not necessarily together) and go whenever I can to see them.
I should also say that the two times I've seen SHeDAISY (best country group EVER) they've been incredible, and I've met them backstage after both concerts. They are the sweetest girls on the face of the earth, and they honestly do care about their fans. One of them, Kristyn, recognized me from the first time we'd met nine months earlier, and described the outfit I'd been wearing that night.

My favorites...hmmmmmm....
Bon Jovi was my first so he'll always have a special place in my heart
I;ve been to Pearl Jam a few times and always loved them.
Madonna was very good (although she doesn't really play her old songs) and Janet Jackson I went to Janet Jackson 2x and she puts on an AWESOME concert!!!!! We were no further back than 20 rows-floor- for all three so that was even better!

Re: What was your BEST concert?
This is hard, but I would have to say seeing the Doors w. Ian Astbury at Roseland in 03. DH and I are longtime Doors fans- we bonded over the music, and it was so cool to see the remaining members of the band live. I didnt think I would ever get to see that, so it rocked.
Others would be Pearl Jam, Stone Temple Pilots, Blues Traveler and Alanis Morissette (crazy I know, but she did that revenge song, it was in college, and it was the best!)
