We're getting our engagement pictures done this weekend, and I'm debating whether ot go totally casual (jeans and T-shirt) or more dressed up (skirt and cute top). FH is wearing khakis and button down (his uniform).
Any thoughts/suggestions? What did you wear? Can I see any pictures you may have?

both of us wore jeans and blue shirts. Since we are pale and both have blue eyes, we felt the blue was nice. But we ended up going with Black and Whites, so it didn't matter.

i wanted to do the whole casual thing (jeans and nice shirt), but FH is strongly against it and wants to be more dressed up. So i think i'm gonna wear a nice pair of pinstripped slacks, and a cute top.

we went casual.. since we usually dress casual. both wore jeans and a black shirt (i wore a sweater, he wore a collared 3 button shirt).

my rationale on this is that all the wedding pictures will be of us REALLY dressed up. I thought it would be nice to go with casual/cute as a contrast.

Ok, this may be a silly question, but what do you use your e-pic's for? Is it to display at the wedding? I noticed that a lot of people take them pretty close to the wedding, rather than close to the engagement.

I'm not sure what they are for, really. For me, I'm getting them 1. because they are free with the photography package and 2. because while we have a lot of pics of us together, we don't have any professional ones. I've always wanted that.

We are doing ours on the beach, so we are going pretty casual - either jeans or khakis and casual shirt.

we just took ours in april so we'd have a picture for the sign in board and wore jeans and button downs...i think attire depends on the mood you want to portray and setting you're in.

Hmm...we may use one of ours for a sign board at our wedding, but I just think professionally done photos are beautiful.
We had a relatively short engagement, so we didn't send out announcements or anything. Really, they're just for our personal use.
