I'm ready to order my gown but I'm torn between ordering from a bridal boutique near me or RK Bridal. The gown is less at RK Bridal but I'm not sure if I'd get the same level of service there since it's such a huge place with so many customers.
Please share your experiences or what you have heard regarding RK Bridal. Thanks! Any feedback on their alternation policy would be great too! TIA!

I love them. I'm getting my gown there and I got my BMs gowns there (through the no frills). Both programs were excellent.
I have my 2nd fitting Friday and so far so good. I would definitely recommend them!

my sister got her dress at RK and swears by them - she said her alterations made her dress fit like a glove. I ordered my dress from there too - I havent gotten any alterations done yet but Im pretty assured that they will do an awesome job. As a side note, we got our BM dresses for my sisters wedding at a boutique and they did an aweful job and treated us terribly (although I have heard now that this boutique is notorious for that!). I would definitely go w/ RK.

so far - excellent. I am a customer service SNOB, and I have been very pleased. They are surprisingly organized, and everyone is really nice and attentive - even the guy at the desk who runs things, you can tell he loves his job (when he called to tell me my dress was in he was hilarious and really into me being excited.)

I also bought my dress at RK Bridals. So far my experience has been great. The sales lady that I got was really nice and very attentive. I tried like 10 dresses the day I went. She was not pushy at all and sometimes left so that my MOH and I can talk. I have my first fitting next week. I ordered my dress and it came in even way before they said I would. They are all very pleasant. Also, I went on a weekday to make sure I avoided the crowds. I'd definitely go there and check.

I ordered my bridesmaid dresses there and so far everything seems great. I even got an estimated date that the dresses would arrive. The price could not be beat anywhere else.

I ordered my dress about a month ago, and wound up going by myself (my mother is in Florida, bridesmaids don't live very close either, etc.). The representative who worked with me was very helpful--I felt like I had a friend or family member with me. She also steered me towards gowns that suited me--I noticed some had lower pricetags than the gowns I had chosen. I have been very happy with the experience so far.
They also gave me a delivery date and did measurements. As far as alterations, I can't speak for them yet.
I would highly recommend them based upon my experience so far.
I am sure you will have a good experience with RK Bridal. However, how much are you actually saving on the dress? Is it worth it to run into the city for all of your fittings vs. being able to go somewhere close to home? To me time is money and the stress of going to Manhattan for all of my fittings etc, isn't worth the savings.

Hey, I didnt order my dress at RK but had a good experience there although it was a saturday....have you tried gownfind - Phyllis in East norhtport...she can get you a price on your dress and I know she caps her alterations at $150. She might be worth a call...

Thanks for the suggest Last Minute...I feel the clock ticking so I think I'm gonna either go with RK Bridal since I was just there this past Sunday or I'm gonna go with the bridal boutique near my house...I have a 2nd appt with them tonight.

Its either $250 or $275 (can't remember) cash only. Had my try on last week and I was in love. They have been awesome. I ordered my dress the first weekend in December and didn't hear back that it was ordered. I called to check in on it and was told they didn't like the delivery date they were given so they didn't order yet and were working it out. By the end of the week, my dress was officially ordered with an estimated delivery date of mid-March. First week of February I received a call that my dress was in!!
So far, they get A+++++++ ratings from me. I saw a friend's dress there at least $200 cheaper than what she paid.
I can't say enough good things about them so far!!
