What was your favorite favor received at a wedding?

Original post by franksbride

I'd have to say mine was a CD...the wedding theme was 'two' and all the songs on the CD were duets...

So sorry...

Originally I wanted to just do the cookie cutter...but Frank thought it wasn't enough (what do our FH know LOL)...so that's when I came up with the cookie mix idea too. We were at the outlets in PA last christmas and I saw this adorable bag filled with mix and I started hunting for my favors from from there!

Andrea...I know you love candles and if I wasn't doing the cookie cutter/cookie mix thing, my next choice was going to be the ornaments...but I also loved a wedding cake candle that I had found on a site...if I remember the name of the site I'll give it to you...the candles came in such pretty colors shaped as wedding cakes...I LOVE THEM!

i'd have to say a wine bottle topper too. That's the only favor I ever used. Oh wait, I take that back - I also use a really nice mikasa votive candle holder. Very pretty. But aren't those expensive? What is the average $$$ that people are supposed to spend on favors? $3, $5, $10 each????

Our first favor will be about $6.00 per couple (framed e-photos) Our second favor is the jordon alomds and maybe the wedding cake candles per person. We'll probably spend about $10 pp.

Also kids favors were about $5 each-- small toys to keep them occupied during our cruise reception.
