Honestly, just being with FH for our 1st Xmas in our own place.

But as for actual presents, it's a tie between the lovely necklace and earring set that FH got me and the digital camera that my mom got me.

my first Hess truck.

sounds odd, but this was the first Christmas without my Grandfather (who passed away in August) Christmas was HIS holiday- he dressed as Santa EVERY year and really reveled in it. This was by far the hardest time of year for all of us. He was really a father to me and my sister, so it was especially hard.

Well, every year he would give a Hess truck to my younger cousins ( a tradition that started after his first grandson was born). This year my grandmother and my aunts got together and gave Hess trucks to all his 'Babes and Pals' (I am his first born so I am '#1 babe') and on it was a picture of my Grandfather dressed as Santa. It was laminated and on the back it had a prayer entitled 'Merry Christmas from Heaven'

Needless to say, we all cried but it is by far my favorite gift- I know he's watching over me.

my cake top.... the lenox first dance.... I got so emotional about it..... it was strange.. I don't usually get that way in front of people... now I think I could cry at my own wedding!!!

when we registered a fell in love with a lenox lady and the tramp figure

well 1. I LOVE LADY AND THE TRAMP
2. me and the FH loves dogs
3. The scene reminds me of us lol

well the piece was discontinued at fortuneoffs
I was so upset b/c we had a hard time finding it

FH got it off ebay and surprised me!!!


my dad got us the new sony camera so that it can fit in my little pocketbook for our honeymoon to hawaii!!! I love this thing. it takes video too!!! I used it all day yesterday!! I it SUPER THIN!

It's hard to choose. Fh bought me diamond studs and my mom got me a new palm pilot. FMIL got us a pasta pot which I am dying to use, FBIL gave us a gift card to BBB and my family gave us mucho $$ for our honeymoon. Everyone was so generous. Especially since we made it clear to everyone that we had to have a simple Christmas because of the wedding.

That is so sweet! I'm so sorry for your loss the holidays can be particularly difficult without loved ones!!

I got a Hess truck also - I have a dowry (sp?) of hess trucks since my father has purchased one for me and my sister every year since I was born!

I can't choose just one - I love my hess truck - my willow wood figurine 'together' - and FH bought me a nintendo DS with Nintendog and animal crossing and i love my gift certificate for Iovarones (sp?) one of my favorite restaurants/deli's!!!

That is my camera. I got it for my birthday. It is awesome!! Enjoy it!!!!

It was not a very eventful Christmas

Crockpot, Betty Crocker cookbook & Gift Certificate to BB&B!!!!

The best part about xmas, I got to spend it with my nephew who is only 12 weeks old!
