I was definitley a Barbie girl. Now my niece plays with my old Barbies and my kids will too someday. As far as board games go, I always like Life and Sorry. I also really liked Perfection.
Teddy the Teddy Bear.... a small brown teddy bear with a wind up music box in the back. I lost it somewhere on a flight back from PA. I still haven't gotten over it.
And a Barbie Girl!

I love the Easy Bake Oven and Lite Brite, but my favorite was a simple tape recorder. When I would go to visit my grandparents they always provided my brothers and I with 3 blank tapes and a tape recorder. We would make up shows and songs. It was really fun. My grandparents still have a lot of the old tapes and love to play them for people. It is also nice to have those keepsakes because my brothers are gone now. It is a way to revisit the good times we had with each other.
That is really nice.
I also loved the easy bake oven (I would make up some really gross stuff and bake it) and Lite Brite I think would STILL be fun!
I also had a tape recorder/radio and me and my friend would pretend we had our own radio show and we'd talk and tape songs from the radio. I wish I still had those tapes.

I can't stop posting here! Ok, does anyone remember the thing you could hook up to your ankle and then make it go around in a circle and jump over it? Mine had a plastic lemon on it (how random is that???!!)

The students in my class are CRAZY for Skip-It!! about 6 or 7 of the girls have gotten them lately.
My favorites were My Little Ponies, Cabbage Patch Kids, and Barbies.... Especially Barbie and the Rockers!!

I loved Cabbage Patch Kids and a bunch of other toys. I still remember getting my first Cabbage Patch Kid. I was really young and everyone I knew had at least one. I finally convinced my parents to buy me one. We went to Sears around Easter time and when we got up to the counter the woman told us that there was a waiting list and there was a 3 month wait. I still remember how crushed I was. The woman behind the counter saw how disappointed I was. Since it was around Easter and it was going to be my first Cabbage Patch doll, she gave me a ticket to pick one up that day from the pickup center. I was so happy. It's about 20 years later and I still remember her good deed
