Complete shock..then I bawled my eyes out!! So did not expect it...at least not until the summer. No clue! Such a surprise and a great one too!

MY FH woke me up from a cat nap to propose....So I was a little out of it. It took me a minute to figure out what was going on

I knew it was coming, and we were out to dinner (Valentine's Day last year), and I just wanted him to get it over with!! He was a mess...pounding glasses of wine, and I could actually see the wheels turning in his head to determine what the 'right moment' was. I was relieved for both of us, and I was amazed that a little ol' ring did change my perspective on the world!

Total shock!! I did not believe him as I have been waiting for years and I did not even say yes until after the ring was on my finger and I let it sink in for a few minutes!! Just wanted to make sure it was for real

i asked him if it was REAL......(who does that??) till this day i don't think i said yes lol a little back round---he would always play jokes on me so when it actually happened i wanted to make sure it was for real lolol
and i cried & cried & cried(happy tears lol) for about 2 hours loll
I had the same reaction. And SOON2BMRSP06 witnessed it b/c she was there. I too thought it was a joke and kept telling him to get up he's embarassing me this went on for a good 10 mins. When I came to my senses I said yes and cried like a lil baby.

We knew we would be married.. but he kept teasing me that it would come when I stopped asking about it....
So on Halloween I had to work, and I got home in the late afternoon. FH lives around the block, so I had to go trick-or-treating with my little sister... and we stopped at his house. Which we have always done.... Well he comes out with a pumpkin box, and says he has a present for me... I said thankyou.. and started to walk away with the present..
He got so nervous and asked if I was gonna open it! I did, and in it was a pink teddybear with a ribbon around it's neck with my RING:) When I looked up, he was on one knee.. And he said something....and I kept saying 'Shut up... '... He put it on, and i tackled him.. He hit his head on the concrete!!! Our mom's were like 'concussion, or no concussion.. you asked her-she said yes and now we FINALLY have a wedding!' I should have seen it coming, because all the neighbors were outside on their lawns with cameras!!

I wish i could relive it. Beacuse I really didnt react. I said yes. But no tears I was smiley from ear to ear. I guess I was in real shock. Even after my poor DH was so let down he thought I was not happy. I was just so shocked.

I just remember being confused and surprised. I really had no idea. We were in Ireland at the time and it was all so perfect but I was NOT expecting a proposal out of that trip. Although obviosly I'm glad he did!
