Since a few of you have been asking...Over the past 2.5 weeks, we got a lot of work done on our home. We got new windows, doors, roofing and siding. They finished on Saturday (would have been done on Christmas eve if not for the heavy rain that day). I had a great experience with the company I used..so if anyone wants their info - just send me a FM. I love the changes!
Before: (the house had nice siding on the front before and it looks pretty in the snow - but we wanted to go with a whole new look and color) After:

WOW your house looks amazing. Danielle's sister lives in S bellmore too. They just added a third floor Master Bedroom suite to their house, and resided the exterior...and did other work, it looks amazing too

The difference is incredible!!!
Oh, and I assume the previous owners were a tad paranoid about intruders?! Look at the security tape on those windows!! LOL

marcela1654 - It is so exciting. It is like a brand new home. We just drive up the driveway and stare at it and are like wow! So different. It is very similar to your color - I think. I wish I could get the kitchen redone - like you just did too! But we put it on the 5-10 year plan! lol Hope you are still enjoying your new home improvements too!!

LOL!!! We STILL drive up to our house and stare at it..and it's been a month We just got the stoop done, so that's exciting!!! We are really enjoying our improvements.
As for our kitchen, we would not have done it if the old kitchen was in decent shape. But everything in it was original It even had an oven that you had to light with a match to get it started . Plus, our kitchen is super small so it was not expensive. Otherwise we would not have been able to do it.
