There is no 'other' - but that is what I would have picked. I absolutely refused to book limos at a showcase we went to until I researched them on here and read past brides' reviews.

hm...while i LOVE liw....i have not made any decisions based SOLELY on here. the one person who i consult with is FH...he and i make the decision and then i SHOW it to the girls on here!

not that i have done this yet but ihave to say hair/makeup - as much as i would ask my family and friends what they thought of my trials. . . it is really hard to tell someone the truth! - while i dont think they would let me get married in drag queen makeup or anything i think it would be easier to take some negative opinions that some ladies would jsut have to type in. . .

Truthfully, I would have to say my M/U. Since I usually don't wear any I really consider myself clueless and it was soooooooooooo helpful to have the LIW girls to give me their honest opinions!!

Its not that i would have refused to make the decision without LIW but making the decisions was a lot easier because of LIW. I was clueless about all the vendors out there other than the ones my RH listed so it was great to see all the options and get so many opinions. And I felt better knowing that x # of people were using hte same vendor.

Unfortunately all my decisions about the wedding were made before I got on LIW I got ideas that added special tocuhes to my wedding - like glass cardbox, and crystal cake topper. But I did pick my cardbox design from an LIW poll.

I loooked for reviews and opinions, but no decision was made BECAUSE of LIW. Its a great reasource, but my life did not revolve around it.

honeslty none, i had made most of my decisions by the time i found liw, and then i searched for reviews about the vendors i had chosen to reaffirm my decisions

I lurked for a while, and have to say that I wanted to hear whay everyone had to say about all of my vendors so far before I was willing to book them.....(except my florist - she's family - and her work is GORGEOUS!!)
So..fh and I would discuss vendors, speak to them ourselves, then get the 'public opinion' before we would make a final decision.
Having done this 12 yrs ago, WITHOUT LIW, I love this way so much better...such a great resource!
