What were your invite and rsvp numbers

Just wanted to get an idea of how many people were invited to your weddings and how many came. We wanted 125, ended up with a minimum of 135 and are probably inviting 175.. So just want to hear what all you girls out there have to say.

I've heard a good rule of thumb is to expect that 20% of your invites won't come - we are inviting 175 and hoping to have 150 at the most, but would be happier if it were even smaller at the 140 mark :)

We invited 120 and our final count (as of this moment) is 96. It would have been higher, but tons of guests elected to come alone even though they were invited with guests (and many are married!).

20% is a general rule, but if everyone lives nearby you could be down to 10% very easily.

We had a ton of OOT guests. Of the 170 we invited, about 145 had to travel. So our final number was 115.

By inviting 175, you might not make your minimum, though. Do you have a B list?

i think it depends on how many of your guests live out of state and have to travel.

We have a lot of guest who have to travel. we are inviting 140 but only expecting around 100 due to traveling.

We invited 147, and final number is 115. We had a ton of OOT that we invited and knew would not attend.

We don't have many OOT guests...We may have at most 10...What do you girls think?

Bet you will end up with around 150. But your invitee number sounds good. Most people end up with 20% no, but sometimes people can surprise you. So I would make sure you can afford to pay for a 10% no rate

We invited 309 - We ended up with 250 at our reception

We invited 180 and in the end 132 came. Our min was 135 and we were able to count some of our vendors into that # in the end.

We invited about 135 and the final count is now 83!

We invited 186 and have 140 attending.

Invited 220 and have 160 coming and a few that have not answered.

That leads me to this question, do I assume that the few that have not answered are a no. Yes I have tried to contact them and received no answer.
