I don't know if I want my wedding to be 'different' I just want everyone to have a great time with great people, great food, great music...and most important an OPEN BAR! Sure, I have some extras and have put personal touches on things....but having a slipper basket, won't set me aside from any other wedding - imo

hmm probably the personalized details...we're making our own place cards and table numbers to a theme. my uncle is an artist so he is making a custom program for us, drawing up all our BP so we can have their pics in it and write a lil blurb about them all.

also, the music we're using for ceremony isnt traditional. I'm not wearing white shoes which will be different for a lot of guests..prob some other stuff i cant think of right now

no, he's been drawing for years but its hard to make a living as an artist so he just does his own projects, drawings, web design, making figures out of clay and what not...its a shame because he is so talented

how much would he charge me fm

I guess that it will be more of a party than a wedding. We arent doing alot of the typical wedding things except for the first dance.

Hopefully the photo both and guest book to go with it, the steel drum band during cocktail hour, a frank sinatra type singer for dinner and up lighting to add to the ambiance.
I think the food and service at our hall too! I have a big Italian wedding and they are used to going to the same few halls all the time. The food at these places is abundant and delicious, but I think that everything at The Thatched Cottage is simple and Elegant, and different from what their used to if that makes sense!
