What will you be getting your parents as a thank you gift?
I really want something special for my mom and step dad. They are so amazing and so excited for this wedding but I am drawing a blank.
I would love to hear your ideas TIA

i got my parents broadway tickets for christmas. the show is a week after my wedding. So as a gift for the wedding i'm going to give them a gift card to a nice restaurant and make the reservations for them.

I've been trying to think of something nice for my mom also. unfortunately, my dad isn't around anymore b/c I would have a million ideas to give the 2 of them. For my mom, I definitely want to get her some kind of engravable frame with a picture of us from the wedding. I might also get a spa gift certificate or even a spa day and lunch with my sister and i.
As for FH's parents, I haven't even discussed it with FH yet. He has no idea about a parents gift. Maybe we can send them out for a nice dinner. We don't have a lot of money in the budget for these gifts, unfortunately!

I'm in the same boat Jess! I have no idea. I definitely want to get them a really pretty picture fram from Things Remembered (with something special engraved). I just don't know what else.

I bought my mom a Brag book - from my photag - its basically an exact replica of my photoalbum - page for page, all 200 photos, but it fits in her purse - thats so my mom..

I got my mom a brag book of our e-pics and she loves it. I kinda want something really meaningful

I know this may be a little on the expensive side but what about a mini honeymoon for them? Like a weekend in atlantic city or in connecticut somewhere?

I like that idea but I wanted to go with something more tangible (sp) that they can look back at in years to come and remember

My grandparents song was Unforgettable by Nat King Cole. At Things Remembered they have a jewelry box that is gorgeous and plays that song, so I bought that for my mom along with a handkerchief.

i was thinking of doing this. I know its pricey but think of all the money they are spending on my wedding
