I can't remember if this question was asked before, but I was just thinking about this last night...
What do you call your FMIL? Will you call her something different after the wedding?

right now i call her Mrs...last name and after the wedding i will call her by her first name we have a good relationship thank god!

I can not fix my tongue to ever call my FMIL 'mom.' It just doesn't feel or sound right.My mother has that title and that's the way its going to stay.
Instead, I call my FMIL 'Ms.___' and most of the time she calls me 'Ms. Vanessa.' Don't ask me why but we've been doing this for almost 6 years so I guess that's the way its going to be! lol

I call his mom and step mom by their first name so i definately will still call them that.

I hope she tells me what to call her, because right now i call her mrs. -----. i think it would be funny calling her that after the wedding. I would have now problem calling her mom but we will see what she prefers.

I call my FIL's by their first name, though I am sure that as soon as we are married they will ask me to call them Mom and Dad. They sign cards they give me either as name and Name or 'Mom' and 'Dad'

I think it is so funny that you call her Mrs. _____ that would just be so weird to me if i had to do that.

i know i think it is funny too! but that is what i started calling her from day one (over 7 years ago) and it kinda just stuck!

i know i think it is funny too! but that is what i started calling her from day one (over 7 years ago) and it kinda just stuck!
I met FH stepmom before we even met so I always just called her by her first name and his mom i met way after we were together.

my fmil already made suddle comments that she wants to be called mom..i mean she calls me the daughter she never had and we have a good relationship right now but i cant picture calling any1 besides my mother mom. i guess ill try it after we get married..but it def. will be weird

ill be calling FMIL by her 1st name... i dont even call her now lol... i barely see her,,,, shes always working n so are we.. FH usually goes there to pick up his mail n thats it.. when we got enaged his parents took us out to dinner the following weekend n that was it... havent really talked to her in a while
