my FILs want me to call them by their first name, but Im not comfortable with that...They will always be Mr. and Mrs. _____. When I am talking about them (when they are not present) I refer to them by their first name...they will NEVER be 'mom and dad'.

I call his mother and step mother by their first names. Wouldn't feel comfortable calling them mom i don't think.

I call his parents by their first names. From day one that is how they introduced themselves. FH has always called my mom and step dad by their first names too.

i call his parents by their first names and it will probably stay that way, unless they say something to FH that they don't like it.

she told me she would like me to call her mom...not sure if i can do it...maybe i'll call her momma

I've always called her by her first name.... and continue to do so. However, I've called her 'Mrs. S___' a few times after the wedding in a joking way so she could then call me 'Mrs. S____' right back

I was calling her Mrs. G_____ but she told me not to recently because she's divorced. So she told me to call her Michelle, her first name. I think I might call her mom once we are married.

i call FMIL by her first name. since we work together thats what i will call her at work. as for once we have kids i am sure i will call her whatever the kids call her, like grandmother or nonny. u know.

First Name. No one else gets to be mom (or dad!) Nope. FH can call my Mom First Name as well, although he doesn't now... he could.

FH's mom signs everything to me 'Ma' but I cant call her that. I only have one mom. So honestly, I dont call her anything. LOL

FMIL brought up to FH she's upset that I never call her 'MOM' well that's cause you're not my mom.

Besides this a woman unfit to be a parent to begin with.

I'll call her by her first name and that's about as close as we can get.

Although I do have a few choice names for her... but LIWeddings will *** them out if you know what I mean

it never changed for me after we got married i still called Mz. (first name)
