What will you do with your gown after your wedding day?

Preserve it and keep it daved for your daughters?
Will you sell it? Make something out of it like pillows? Just wondering.

That is the one thing I want to keep-regardless of whether any f my future daughters will wear it. I want to wear it on our fiftieth wedding anniversary! Yes-wrinkles, blue hair, and all.

I'll have it preserved and perhaps use part of it (maybe the train) to have a Christening gown made for our future children.

Same here....someone had told me about that and I thought it was a really cool idea. Its not like I'll be getting married again, so I'm not going to be wearing it. I think it is such a cool gesture.

Preserve it....I wanted to wear my mom's (loved her dress) my grandmother kept all her daughters wedding dresses but landed up throwing my mom's out because she had a mustard stain (small on the bottom of the dress)plus my parents divorced so grandma didnt think my mom would want it (even though my mom promised me her dress) so sad to know that I didnt have the chance to even try) So I will preserve mine....

I am thinking of either selling it on ebay or giving it to a charity.
Right now its hanging up in my room at my parents house taking up space.

I will definitely preserve mine and probably use it for a christening gown when we have children. I don't think I'd save it for my daughter to wear for her wedding because I'd want her to have the experience of looking for the gown of her dreams.

I will most likely have it dry cleaned right away, keep it in the closet for a little while incase i want to try it on every now and again, hehe but after a few months i will have it preserved.

As for my daughter, I don't know-- will she want to wear it? or would she rather pick her own dress for herself. i feel like her wearing my dress is not her choosing what she would really want... but maybe? i think she would rather have something else like maybe my e-ring when i die or something... but the dress, i'll want her to have her 'own'.

right, much better said then i put it!!

b/c nothing beats the 'shopping for your dream dress' experience!!! and i want her to have that b/c i did and it was so nice!

I have no senitmental attachment to my gown, I'll most likely give it to charity.

As dorky was this sounds my goal is to still be able to fit into it for our 10 year anniversary so when we renew our vows we can recreate our wedding all over again ( just not as many guests and no gifts!!)

I also would love for my daughter to wear it (if I have a girl) but I would never want to pressure her to if it's not what she wanted.
