What will you give up to increase your cash flow???
Starting tomm, I am not taking the LIRR to have $180+ more in my pockets... what about you?

I gave up...cable. my FH is freaking out over it. Its drama-rific , let me tell you. Guaranteed we'll have it back next month. lol

I have given up all excess spending unless it is ABSOLUTELY necessary. So no more shopping, manis/pedis, etc. Hair cut & colors can wait a while. FH and I have also decided that we will eat out only once a week, which is healthier for us anyway. That's about it for now.

FH and I have drastically cut down our weekend outtings to bars and restaurants (me more so than he has). I feel like my social life non existent. I make exceptions for birthdays and other celebrations but as far as going out just cause, it's not happening.

My FH n I have give up buying many things We dont Need... Also we choose 'cheaper' restaurants and Look for COUPONS all the time =) and yep we have been saying!!!

buying lunch-
I bring my breakfast snack and lunch to work with me daily and the go home, to cook dinner- I try to make all meals to save money

FH and I have limited how many times a week we eat out and also I have cut spending unnecessarily.

I've cut WAY back on buying lunch-i bring from home & eat out only 1-2 times for lunch per week. No shopping; no mani/pedi's/ cut back the frequency of getting my hair done. Less going out on the weekends. I feel like i've cut my spending more than FH!
ETA: Bringing breakfast/lunch from home is a real saver! I don't spend any cash during the day! Breakfast; snack & Lunch are all brown bagged!

cut down on the shopping - but that's probably b/c it's busy season

I bring in lunch... I do my own mani pedi.
but i cant give up going to the hair salon every week. but i go to a dominican hair place its just $20 a week to wash and blow dry.
but the biggest thing we have given up well atleast so far is vacations. Last year we went away to the carribean 5 times... so its going to be April tom and im dying already... lol

FH and I both bring our lunch to work which saves sooo much money. We are trying to cut back on the amount we spend going out but we could do better.

FH packs my lunch everyday. I haven't had my nails doen since July (and I'm a biter....this was drastic) We don't eat out unless its a special occasion and I haven't bought shoes....in I can't tell you how long....

i so agree christine!! that was our thing lol we always ate out so much and they he's like u know how much we'd save..so we actually been pretty good!!

Bringing lunch helps although FH and I still eat out on the weekends. We try to shop smart and eat things that are on sale which means being flexible about brands and stocking up on things like meat and eggs when they are a good price.
Besides that I haven't shopped in ages and I will do as much overtime as I can without driving myself crazy.

how are you doing that?!?!? i'm doing $205 every month PLUS a monthly metrocard. if i gave up either of those, i'd be seriously late to work every day.
