what would be appropriate to give?

FH & I are going to a 50th Surprise Bday party tonight. How much should we give?

IDK if either of these details matter but:
it's being held at their home & they are Eric's parent's close family friends...Eric is friendly w/ their kids but hasn't seen them in almost 3.5 years, I have never met them.


FH wants to give them $25...that doesn't seem like enough to me.. what do you all think

I went to my MOH's father surprise b-day party and we gave him a $50 best buy gift card. I feel like that should be enough. Maybe $75 if you feel like 50 is too low.

i owuld give between 50 - 70

50 is fine but if you want ot be more generous then do 75

I agree with $50. I wouldn't give more than that.
