ok so i got home from my hair trial and FH doesnt really like it. now i dont know if i like it. he wanted more hair like hanging in front, like thise little pieces that come down. and the more i look at the pictures i kinda agree. do i go for another trial and have her do excatly like the photo i gave her, or just leave it? what would u do?
Crashing from 2011 board. I am sorry but I agree with your fh. It does not really look like the picture your provided to her, I would definetely schedule another hair trial.

i went through the same thing, that's exactly how i wore my hair and had 3 trials with 3 different people before i found someone who could nail it
truth be told the secret is good extensions and combing out the curls a bit

If you like your hair otherwise, like how well the curls stayed through tonight and everything, I woudln't spend the $$ on another trial. Just save this photo and have her make that adjustment the day of... it's something so easy to adjust and work in, it's not like you'e asking for an entirely different hairstyle.
If you're gonna book, jut send her the photo and ask her to make a note that you want that change made. No big deal.
ETA, I missed the part about how THAT's the photo you gave her. I thought you found this photo after the fact. I'd schedule another trial in that case, cause the curls she gave you are much different than this photo, and you def don't have the volume like this photo has. I thought you were only referring tot he face pieces, sorry.

i liked your hair a lot.
BUT if you want it like the pictures- the curls need to be pulled apart so they are looser and not as full and you just need more pieces pull out front not all the way tied back.
i had a horrible first trial and then switched stylists since she had to do my hair 4 times and still did not get my vision. the new stylist did it correct on try one. if you are not happy or she did not get your vision try again and if not then, try someone new.

thanks girls, i guess i always loved that picture, and always pictured my hair being like that. when i was there i liked my hair but the more i look at the pictures i dont like it. ugh! more money i have to spend

Will she do a second trial with you? I think the curls she made just need to be brushed out more. See if she'll do a second trial (for free - some people will) Email her the pictures together and see what she says.
I feel your pain with the hair trials... I went on a billion of them before I booked someone.

ITA with the other posters. I think your trial was very pretty, but it didn't much look like the picture you provided.
