you told someone the date of your b-party. you get a phone call to say she can't make it. she got an invintation to a bridal shower(the invite got lost. had the wrong zip code) the shower is for her cousin(she never meet the bride)

would u go to the event that u knew about first.

well, if she already RSVP'd to the shower, it may be awkward to get out of it

I would probably try to do both. Out of respect for my cousin, even if I never met his FW, I would still go tot the shower. Since it's my couisn.......... my other family members will be there.
So I would do the shower. And I would still get you something for your B-day and try to stop by. I wouldn't do you wrong.

ohhhhhhhhhhhhh!

hmm, well, in that case. I would go to both. I would leave the shower early and go to the other party. espcially if the party is of a close friend.

Don't feel bad Gail.
Even though she never met the bride, it's still her cousin's soon to be wife. She should try to make both though.

I would probally go to my cousin's thing If I could ONLY do one... no offence... but my family would give me SUCH slack if I didn't go to a family function..
