What would you do?

We thought the cocktail started at 6:30, but we were wrong and it is starting at 7:30. The place was nice enough to say that we can start the cocktail hour at 7:15. What should I put on the invites? 7:30 or 7:15 for the starting time?

7:15 is a weird time to start the CH and its only a 15 min difference

I could care less. But the FMIL wants it to be earlier and is making a big deal because she thought the cocktail hour started at 6:30.

I'm just worried if I put 7:15 and people show up earlier.

I guess I can verablly tell people to come to the reception early.

Honey, put WHATEVER you want on your invite! Everyone else will just have to DEAL with it!
