what would you do?

what would you do?

ok, so i've been at my current job for about 18 months and will be moving to a new job (same company) the last week of september. the group that i currently work with are all really quiet and introverted so i can't say that i'm close to any of them. although, one of the other managers in the group and i have become friendly. she's been really interested in my wedding planning - even did research (a lot of research) on the wedding band i wanted and came to the diamond district with me. i had been grappling with whether or not to invite her to the wedding and decided that if i invited her i would have to invite the rest of the management team and that' wasn't possible. plus, while i appreciate her interest and help, she's still just what i would consider a colleague. i mean, when i move to the new group chances are i'm only going to see/talk to her if we work on a project together.

when i told her i was leaving the group, it came out that she had been planning a surprise lunch with the group for me (we're talking she got in contact with my sister to get my fi's email so she could include him on it) and was going to get me something off my registry from the group. well, now that i'm leaving that won't be happening but she stopped by today to ask me where i'm registered. so now i'm thinking she might get me something on her own. and if she does i'm going to feel really bad that i didn't invite her to the wedding. should i feel bad? should i invite her to the wedding? i mean, now that i'm leaving the group i might be able to get away with just inviting her. although i think it would make my current boss feel bad since he already feels like i'm deserting him...

AAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHH!&nbs

what to do? what to do?
