What would you do?

What would you do?

My cousin meg is leaving for college on Thursday Night and I promised her I would meet up with her for lunch...that was BEFORE the whole moms surgery being moved up, and around etc. My mom wants me to go... but I want to stay with my mom...

They will be playing around with the anestesia and for my mom its a HUGE deal... so I just don't know what to do...

Mom says she would rather be alone...

I hate dilemmas

I would stay with your mom. You most likely won't be able to enjoy your time being spent with your cousin. You will be doing nothing but thinking of your mom. I'm sure your cousin will understand.

you could def. be in 2 places at one time....spend the entire day with your mom and the evening with your cousin....you mom is going to be tired and just wanting to rest...

thats the thing, she is holding off leaving to have lunch with me... and mom may get sick after the anestesia tests

My moms my best friend...I wouldn't leave her , even if she begged lolz..

Can your cousin to dinner the nite before , or maybe breakfast that same day, just before the tests?

so is mine thats why im freaking out. And tomorrow she plans on taking fh and I to the beach before we go out with family to take pictures of us....

She basically said that she would rather face the pre-op alone.... from day 1.... i dont know

So it's the day of your mom's surgery? Can't your cousin go to lunch today? Or tell her to meet you at the hospital cafeteria for lunch?

maybe promise her you will go visit her for a weekend...or even make its a surprize visit
