I would stay with your mom. Tell your cousin that you're sorry but you want to be with your mom and you can meet up for lunch when she's home for a break.

i would stay with my mom. she's my best friend i wouldn't be able to have a good time knowing that something may be wrong.

i would stay with mom. your cousin should understand. besides if the college isn't too far you can always take a trip there and hang out with her to make up for it.

the surgery is next thursday...
tomorrow is the pre-op/testing of anestesia..so i know its not really a big deal but because of how she reacts to the anestesia..... i get worried!
